In the high-precision world of mechanical engineering and tool reconditioning, every detail matters. For Fraisa GmbH, a leading provider in the field of cutting tools, defined edges and absolute process reliability are critical to success. To further secure their already established quality standards while simultaneously increasing efficiency and the level of automation, Fraisa sought a solution to specifically optimize their existing processes. They found the answer in OTEC‘s Mass Finishing Technology.
This collaboration demonstrates how remarkable results can be achieved through customized adaptations and technological excellence. Long setup times and process optimization potential Before partnering with OTEC, Fraisa faced specific challenges in surface finishing. The company, based in Willich and specializing in the ReTool process and the reconditioning of milling tools, was using a DF 4 Tools machine. While this system was already delivering reliable performance and good results, there was room for further optimization. The focus was primarily on reducing setup times and achieving longer autonomous operation through a higher degree of automation. In a market where precision and…Abonnenteninhalt
